We started CBI Technologies for one reason: to help small businesses thrive with their IT through sound advice and clear communication.
Small businesses rely on technology as much as any large company, but they rarely have an IT department to lean on. Too often they’re sold products they don’t need, given explanations they can’t follow, or left waiting when something breaks.
Since 2011 we’ve worked the other way. We take the time to understand each business, recommend only what makes sense, explain it in plain English and stay close by when help is needed. Fifteen years on, that’s still the whole job.

Meet the founder: a passion that became a business
Like a lot of people in IT, [Founder name]’s interest in technology started early. It began with pulling old computers apart to see how they worked, building machines from spare parts, and becoming the person family and friends called whenever something stopped working.
That curiosity turned into a career. Working in IT, [Founder name] kept seeing the same pattern: small businesses were sold technology they didn’t need, given advice they couldn’t understand, and left waiting when things went wrong. Larger companies had IT departments. The local accountant, builder or medical clinic had nobody in their corner.
In 2011, [Founder name] registered CBI Technologies to change that. The idea was simple: give small businesses the same quality of IT advice and support that bigger companies get, explained clearly and priced fairly.
Fifteen years later, the business has grown but the approach hasn’t changed. [Founder name] is still hands-on with clients, still enjoys getting to the bottom of a tricky problem, and still believes good IT support starts with listening.
